Resources for New Residence Hall Residents

• Important dates: When you can move in and deadlines to make changes. Please note that in the Undergraduate Residence Halls, freshmen move in on Thursday, August 22, 2013, and returning students move in on Saturday, August 24. First-year residents of Living-Learning Communities who have registered for LLC orientation move in on Tuesday, August 20. First-year Beckwith-assisted residents of Nugent Hall move in on Tuesday, August 20.

If your plans have changed and you will no longer be attending the University of Illinois, you may cancel your contract. 

Ordering a MicroFridge, Carpet, and Linens

• MicroFridge: Interested in renting a MicroFridge (combo microwave, freezer, and fridge)? For free in-room delivery before move-in, order by August 5, 2013. To order your MicroFridge, visit www.collegiatefridge.com. (Note: MicroFridges are already provided in Daniels Hall and Sherman Hall rooms.)
• Carpet: Save the hassle of hauling your own carpet to campus! Order a custom-fit carpet that will be delivered to your room before you arrive. Order by August 5, 2013 at www.rhcarpets.com/uil. 
• Linens: You can purchase extra-long twin sheets, pillows, blankets, and towels through Residence Hall Linens. Domestic orders will be shipped to your home address before move-in day! Order at http://www.rhl.org/uil by August 8, 2013 (U.S. students only). International students can order at www.rhl.org/uil9 before August 2, 2013.
