Immunization Requirements

According to the policies of the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, applicants who have not previously attended Georgia College must submit proof of all required immunizations certified by a health official.  All immunizations are required the first day of matriculation.

For students born before 1957:

  • Tetanus-Diphtheria within the last ten years prior to matriculation
  • Varicella (chicken pox) immunity

For students 18 years old or younger at the time of matriculation:

  • MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) immunity
  • Tetanus-Diphtheria within the last ten years prior to matriculation
  • Hepatitis B immunity
  • Varicella (chicken pox) immunity 
For all other students:
  • MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) immunity
  • Tetanus-Diphtheria within the last ten years prior to matriculation
  • Varicella (chicken pox) immunity 

Students may also view and track their immunization requirements progress through PAWS by clicking on Student and Financial Aid link, then clicking on Student Records.
