Our undergraduate mission is to provide students with the educational experiences typical of esteemed private liberal arts colleges, but at the affordable price of a public university. Throughout the state of Georgia and beyond, Georgia College is recognized as an academically competitive and challenging student-centered university that offers an attractive range of liberal arts and sciences and professional programs.
You won't get lost in the crowd here! Our classes are small enough to allow for plenty of faculty and student interaction. We have a highly qualified faculty who work directly with students on research, creative and service projects. Student leadership opportunities, lectures by distinguished scholars, performances, exhibits and other cultural events extend student-learning opportunities beyond the classroom.
Our historic campus in Milledgeville is among the most beautiful in the United States but also boasts newer facilities, including a magnificent library with its own technology center and state-of-the-art residential facilities. We are one of the top 50 wireless campuses in the United States, which means that students can log on to their laptops while enjoying the shade of an oak tree on front campus or a café latté in an outdoor patio.
For graduate and professional students, Georgia College offers programs on the main campus in Milledgeville and also at sites in Macon and Warner Robins. We are serious about providing our graduate students the knowledge and skills that will enable them to excel in their chosen professions.
