International Photo Contest - Reception announcing the winners of the 6th annual contest. Beyond Culture Shock!!
5 p.m. Library Atrium - reception and prize announcements 

Tuesday, October 23

International Resume Workshop - Maximize your international experience by effectively highlighting your new found skills and knowledge in your job search. Join International Studies Abroad, the GC Career Center, and the GC International Education Center staff for a hands-on workshop that will help you better articulate your cross-cultural competencies.

Wednesday, October 24

Opportunities Abroad Fair – Learn more about opportunities to study, intern, work, volunteer or teach abroad. Representatives from various groups will be at tables on Front Campus to provide more information to faculty and students interested in pursuing an experience abroad.  
10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Front Campus, Parks Hall and Atkinson Hall Porches

Internship Abroad Panel -  Join returned students and faculty as they discuss the merits and challenges of pursuing international internship experience. 
2 p.m., A&S 336

Peace Corps Information Session – Learn about opportunities to explore the world through the Peace Corps.

Thursday, October 25

International Day – Faculty, staff, students and members of the community come together to celebrate the diversity of Georgia College on International Day as students from the International Club present entertainment, food, games, clothing and culture from more than 30 countries.
11 a.m. – 2 p.m., Front Campus 

Study Abroad Funding Workshop – Join the International Education Center and Financial Aid Office to learn more about HOPE, Federal Aid, scholarships and fundraising projects to put together money for your experience abroad.
2 p.m., Atkinson 202

Friday, October 26

Machuca - A film from Chile, part of the First Friday Foreign Film Series. Set in Santiago during the Marxist government of elected, highly controversial president Salvador Allende.
7 p.m., Arts & Sciences Auditorium
