The Honors Program is advised by faculty members representing different colleges on campus. Honors council members serve three-year terms of office. The president of Eta Sigma Alpha also serves on the council.

The Honors Council helps connect and promote the Honors Program across campus, making it truly multidisciplinary.
2011-12: Thanks to Dr. Caralyn Zehnder and Ms. Olivia Ollinger for their service on the council this past year. Olivia has graduated, and is working in a lab at Emory Medical School before applying to the MPH program there.
2010-11: Thanks this year to Drs. Dwight Call, Amy Childre, Sunita Manian, and Bob Wilson for their service on the council. Thanks also to Brandon Williams for representing Eta Sigma Alpha. Brandon has been accepted into the extremely competitive economics PhD program at Georgia State. Finally, a very special thank you to Dr. Ken Saladin who is retiring from the council after 30 years of continuous service!
