Our Mission
The College of Health Sciences' mission is to provide undergraduate and graduate programs in disciplines that emphasize health education, promotion, maintenance, and restoration. Liberal arts constructs permeate the health science majors thereby enhancing an understanding of the diverse, changing and complex health needs and values of society.
Our Vision
The College of Health Sciences encourages the university community to embrace the concept of health as multi-dimensional and to respect and understand the unique role holistic health plays in the quality of individual and community life. Graduates will attain intellectual integrity, an appreciation of diversity, and commitment to the best for self, family, and the global society.

The College of Health Sciences' first priority is the education of competent, caring professionals with a comprehensive world view that promotes leadership, initiative, accountability, stewardship and a moral and ethical respect for others.

Apply for an External Scholarship
Academically motivated students are encouraged to seek external scholarships, fellowships, and grants to pursue their longer term academic and professional goals. Successful scholarship applications early in one's college career can be used to leverage future scholarship and other opportunities.
