B.S. Degrees

Within the John H. Lounsbury College of Education, three undergraduate degrees are offered.

Early Childhood Education offers a degree that leads to certification for teachers in Pre K through Grade Five.

Middle Grades Education offers a degree that leads to certification for teachers from Grade Four through Grade Eight.

Special Education offers a degree that leads to certification for teachers in Grades 1-12.

Students interested in becoming certified to teach high school must first earn a bachelor's degree in the content field of choice.  Then, they earn certification through the Master's of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) in Secondary Education Program.

All successful applicants must pass a background check.  Persons convicted of felonies or crimes of moral turpitude are not eligible for programs.
