Internal Audit has introduced an audit internship program in coordination with the J. Whitney Bunting College of Business. The internship consists of conducting audit activities and writing reports on field work. The program benefits the Office of Internal Audit through added staffing and students learn first hand how audits are performed by working with an experienced internal auditor. Kenan Besirevic is a master of accountancy (MAcc) student at Georgia College graduating in July 2016. He currently holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Middle Georgia State College. He plans to pursue a PhD in accounting after graduating and pursue a career in teaching. He enjoys playing soccer, fishing, and traveling.
Hang "Jessica" Su is a senior at Georgia College and will graduate in May 2016. She plans to pursue a master of accountancy (MAcc) and undertake the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam after graduation. She is also a member of the Honors Program and Leadership Certificate Program at Georgia College. She loves listening to classical music and traveling.
