Internal Audit has introduced an audit internship program in coordination with the J. Whitney Bunting College of Business. The internship consists of conducting audit activities and writing reports on field work. The program benefits the Office of Internal Audit through added staffing and students learn first hand how audits are performed by working with an experienced internal auditor. Sarah Ling Sarah Ling
Sarah Ling is a senior student at Middle Georgia State College pursuing a bachelor of science in business and information technology with a concentration in accounting and plans to graduate fall semester 2015. She plans on acquiring her certified public accountants’ (CPA) license next year and will pursue a career as a public accountant or auditor. She also plans to obtain a bachelor’s degree in finance in the near future. She enjoys going to the movies, hanging with friends, reading business books, and laughing.
Justin Mundy Justin Mundy
Justin Mundy is a master of accountancy (MAcc) student graduating in May 2016. He has obtained a bachelor of business administration in accounting from Georgia College. He plans to complete the CPA exam after graduating and pursue a career in corporate auditing. He enjoys reading, running, and traveling.
Brittany Ramos Brittany Ramos
Brittany Ramos is pursuing her bachelor's degree in accountancy at Middle Georgia State College with expected graduation in May 2016. She currently holds an associate's in Spanish and an associate's in business. She plans to start the certified public accountancy (CPA) exam in fall of 2016. She would also like to attend automotive technician school in the future. Brittany loves to craft, relax, cook, learn and try new things.
Chelsea Rutherford Chelsea Rutherford
Chelsea Rutherford is a master of accountancy (MAcc) student at Georgia College graduating in May 2016. She also holds a bachelor of arts in mass communication. She plans to complete the CPA exam after graduating and pursue a career in corporate auditing and fraud examination. She enjoys reading a good book, drinking lots of coffee, and 80's music.
Larrentis Thomas Larrentis Thomas
Larrentis Thomas is a student at Georgia College pursuing a bachelor of business administration in accounting and will graduate December 2015. He plans to further his education by continuing in the master of accountancy (MAcc) program offered at Georgia College. He loves playing basketball and socializing with friends and family.
