For two grandmothers: Mary Eugenia Stradley Sanders, ’25, and Thelma Marie Melton Snyder, education was vital and life-changing. That’s why Dr. Genie Snyder Chamberlin, ’82, and her brother Preston Snyder, ’84, named two scholarships in memory of them.

Alumna Lisa Baer, ’11, Reflects on How the Fulbright Experience Enhanced Her Studies

Three years ago, at 5:30 p.m., you could find Lisa Baer, ’11, teaching Mongolian university students the English language and American culture. Now, in her third year of graduate school, Baer is working on her PhD in clinical psychology at the University of South Dakota. She thanks Fulbright for the experience that complemented her major.

You may have heard of Robbin Shipp, Esq. Her spirit in advocating for justice and in resonating as the voice of others has graced individuals in many ways. From attorney to state legislator to commissioner of labor candidate to author to risk management director/in-house counsel; Shipp has touched a countless number of lives in a positive way.
