Preston Snyder Alumnus’ painting benefits charity
The cover of Georgia Fighters magazine displays a painting done by GC alumnus and Atlanta artist Preston Snyder to commemorate the 25 Year Anniversary of Evander Holyfield’s first ever title victory.

Mrs. Sandra Deal, Georgia's First Lady Mrs. Sandra Deal, Georgia’s First Lady who holds her education degree from Georgia College, visited campus recently, touring the grounds including the Old Governor’s Mansion.

Foundation Board member elected chairman of YKK
Alex E. Gregory Jr. Alex Gregory, who holds two master’s degrees from Georgia College and has served for more than 20 years as a member of the Foundation Board of Trustees, has been elected chairman of the YKK Corporation of America’s board of directors.  Gregory has been president and CEO of the Marietta-based company.
