President's Scholars Competition
Georgia College & State University, the state’s designated public liberal arts university, is pleased to announce the President’s Scholars Competition
. Georgia College’s annual President’s Scholars Competition provides a chance for high-achieving high school seniors from across the country to compete for one of GCSU’s most prestigious scholarships.
President's Scholars Competition criteria
To be considered for a President’s Scholars Award, students are required to participate in the President’s Scholars Competition and meet the following requirements:
- Apply for admission to GCSU
- Have a 1300 SAT of (combined Critical Reading and Math subscores only) or 29 ACT Composite score or rank in the top 5% of their class
- Have a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA
- Submit a letter of recommendation from school counselor or teacher
- Submit a resume
- Participate in the entire competition
- Do not submit if already included in application portfolio
