Advanced Credit

AP, IB, CLEP, or Challenge are not required for admission, but we do accept advanced placement at the time of admission if it meets any one of the following:

Advanced Placement Credit Table

In general, a score of three or higher on tests administered in conjunction with the Advanced Placement (AP) Program of the College Entrance Examination Board.  However, some subjects require a score of 4 or higher.

College Level Examination Program Table

A score of 50 or higher on certain tests given by the College Level Examination Program (CLEP)

International Baccalaureate Credit Table

Depending on the subject, either a score of 4 or 5 or higher on higher level IB exams.  IB credit is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Transfer credits from other accredited colleges and universities (maximum of 80 semester hours in transfer and a maximum of 30 semester hours through extension courses. At least 39 of the 120 semester hours must be completed in residence at Georgia College).
