Docents

Jim Crow Museum docents are faculty, staff, students, and community members who serve on a volunteer basis and provide tours of the Museum to visitors. They may also help Museum staff with special programs. All docents must be trained. Participation in the Docent Program requires a substantial commitment of time and energy, but it is tremendously rewarding. Docents should demonstrate a solid knowledge of the Museum's collection and be able to facilitate discussions. The Jim Crow Museum will begin training a new group of docents Fall Semester 2012.
