THE SIXTH ANNUAL SOTL CONFERENCE

The University of Findlay, Findlay, Ohio

REFLECT AND REFRESH:
TWENTY-FIVE YEARS OF SOTL
MAY 18 & 19, 2015

Nearly 25 years have passed since Ernest Boyer published, Scholarship Reconsidered: Priorities of the Professoriate. Since then, SOTL has transitioned from an emerging concept to an evolving practice. Likewise, the spaces in which SOTL occurs and is delivered have evolved. It seems fitting, then, at this quarter-century milestone to take time to reflect on how SOTL has impacted higher education, how SOTL is currently defined across campuses, and how SOTL might continue to refresh and support the reciprocal relationship between teaching and learning.

Please join us for The SOTL Academy 2015. We look forward to your participation as we gather together to reflect upon and refresh perspectives on best practices in SOTL.

Coming May 18 & 19, 2015 to The University of Findlay  http://www.findlay.edu/engagement/SoTL-Conf-2015/

The Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning will support up to 15 Ferris faculty to attend by offering a block grant to cover the costs of attending the conference.  If you are interested, please contact fctl@ferris.edu or call 231.591-3826 for further information.
