Course Design Institute: Grand Rapids                June 27-July 1, 2016

FSU's Faculty Center for Teaching Learning invites you to participate in its Course Design Institute (CDI), a five-day, hands-on, interactive, and collaborative experience. The CDI will give you a focused, engaging, and collegial environment in which you will learn about course design, approaches to teaching, learning, assessment, and feedback that you can apply directly to one of your courses.

The CDI is Monday, June 27 through Friday, July 1, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM each day.  The CDI will be in Room 427 of the Woodbridge N. Ferris Building located at 17 Pearl Street NW, Grand Rapids, MI.

There is no cost to FSU or KCAD faculty to participate! What's more...

  • Faculty who participate will receive a $1,000 Professional Development Incentive;
  • A full breakfast and lunch will be provided each day; and
  • Lodging will be provided for those faculty traveling more than 50 miles.

All faculty – non-tenure, tenure-track, and tenured – are invited to submit applications to participate in the 2016 Course Design Institute. For more information about the CDI, including the application, please click here.
