All degree candidates are required to complete the Online Application for Graduation found in the MyFSU portal by following the path MyFSU>Academic & Services>Student Records>Apply to Graduate. Check with your college as there may additional forms required to be filed for graduation.
To be eligible for graduation, you must meet the program grade point average (GPA) requirements, the curriculum course and credit requirements, and the University's general education requirements. Contact the dean's office of your program or your regional center with questions or to learn more.
Students admitted to one of Ferris' off-campus locations or an online program who wish to participate in the Big Rapids ceremony will attend with their affiliated college. For example, a student graduating with a criminal justice degree will graduate with the College of Education and Human Services; a student graduating with a business administration degree will graduate with the College of Business.
Graduates from Dowagiac, Flint, and Traverse City have the choice of attending their local ceremony (if offered), traveling to the main campus, or both. Please contact your location's Commencement Coordinator to let them know the location you plan to walk.
