The Career Services office is committed to creating a campus environment that promotes learning and living experiences through our services and activities.

The purpose of this site is to share how we are engaging in the assessment process and how we are using assessment data to improve our activities, programs, and services. We also want to share how we are contributing to student learning with faculty, staff, students, alumni, employers, and others.

Vision Statement:

To be a center of excellence in providing education, guidance, and support throughout the career development process for all students, alumni, faculty/staff, and employers.

Statement of Purpose:

Career Services will promote, support, and compliment the Ferris State University and Student Affairs mission, vision, and core values while supporting students and alumni in developing their career preparation skills, employer connections, and success in the workplace.

We do this by:

• Offering interactive, real-world information and experiences as related to career preparation starting in the students first year
• Offering a variety of networking opportunities for employers, students, alumni and faculty/staff
• Offering a high level of customer service to a diverse community on and off campus
• Collaboration with students, alumni, faculty/staff, parents, employers, and the local community to ensure high quality, technologically and globally advanced career preparation and opportunities
• On-going assessment of employers, alumni, and student participation in Career Services activities
