If you are graduating and have a loan, you will need to complete Loan Exit Counseling before you graduate. Exit counseling informs you of your rights as a borrower, provides you with the contact information for your student loan servicer, and helps you to select a repayment plan.
Students who have taken out Direct Loans (Subsidized and Unsubsidized) must complete exit counseling at studentloans.gov.
If you have received a Perkins loan from Ferris State University then you will also be required to complete Perkins Exit Counseling. You will be notified by e-mail when it is time to complete this loan requirement.
