The Bachelor of Science in Biology (Environmental Biology) is designed to prepare students for entry into the work force or admission into graduate programs in the fields of environmental biology, ecology, and organismal biology. The requirements of the Environmental Biology program are based on the general requirements of the Bachelor of Science in Biology. Specific courses such as Microbial Ecology, Zoology, Plants and Fungi, Plant Physiology, Physical Geology, and Fundamentals of Geographic Information Systems are prescribed to fulfill the requirements of the degree and to best prepare students for future work in the field. The completion of an internship is required.
