The Office of Student Conduct at Ferris State University is educationally focused and student oriented. Our process is not designed to punish, but instead help students consider the impact of their behaviors. Students are challenged to consider how their behavior may affect the attainment of their goals, compromise their academic success, and/or how their actions may impact the community. Students can expect to be treated with respect, fairness, and compassion. We sincerely care about the success of our students and provide intervention and resources to help students make healthy choices and good decisions. When this happens, students are best prepared to make informed choices that are in their best interest as well as the interest of our living/learning environment. The OSC staff embraces the Core Values of the University and encourages our students to appreciate them and live accordingly.
Ferris State University has students sought out by business and industry before they graduate, with some disciplines having a 100 percent placement rate of those graduates who responded to a graduate follow-up survey. Our college offers small lab sizes, state-of-the-industry equipment, and clinical or internship experiences in each program.
