Winter Weather Cancellations for Thursday, March 5, 2015
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning that includes sleet and freezing rain for Tuscaloosa County until 3 p.m. on Thursday. While road conditions on the campus currently remain clear and road temperatures are above freezing, UA will suspend classes, normal operations and events from 11 a.m. through Thursday evening, March 5.
Attention - New Students: the Replacement Exam for new students will be conducted tomorrow (Fri, Mar 6) at 1:30 pm in BB Comer room 109A.
A decision about Friday classes, normal operations and events will be announced at 6 a.m. on Friday. The University strongly encourages each person to monitor weather updates from the National Weather Service and local media sources. Safety tips and weather information are posted at http://prepare.ua.edu Persons traveling outside the UA area should check the Alabama Department of Transportation website at http://alitsweb2.dot.state.al.us/RoadConditions for road conditions to their destination. If you cannot travel to campus safely, please notify your teachers or the ELI office.

In Memoriam: Bill Henderson (1962-2015)
ELI faculty, staff, students, and the University of Alabama and Tuscaloosa community, remember long-time and beloved ELI faculty member, Bill Henderson, who died in his home in Tuscaloosa on June 7, 2015 at the age of 53.
