Academic Achievement Program
In accordance with the mission of The University of Illinois and the vision of the Campus Center for Advising and Academic Services, the Academic Achievement Program (AAP) enhances excellence in scholarship and service.
Serving students exploring majors in the Division of General Studies and admitted through the President’s Award Program (PAP) and the Educational Opportunities Program (EOP), the Academic Achievement Program fosters retention and success through intentional academic advising, systematic engagement, resourceful initiatives and collaborative, interdisciplinary support networks.
Moreover, through consistent motivation and encouragement, the AAP mentors students as they navigate campus-wide resources, explore opportunities for academic and professional leadership and transition to their chosen field(s) of study.
