Industrial Advisory Board

CUNY CAT’s Industry Advisory Board (IAB) advises the director on planning and goal setting and assists CAT management in identifying new technical opportunities and prospective research projects and sponsors.   The IAB is made up of distinguished scientists and engineers who meet with the director and senior management two times each year and assist in developing the CAT’s vision and direction.  Duties and responsibilities of IAB members include:

  • Providing guidance and direction to the CAT’s leadership in developing and achieving the technical and programmatic goals and strategies of the Center
  • Facilitating introductions and communication between the CAT, private industry, government agencies and investors
  • Identifying areas where CUNY CAT’s resources and capabilities can be used to develop new industry/University collaborations
  • Promoting relationships that increase the visibility of CUNY CAT to business associates and professional colleagues
