Each CUNY college has a veterans affairs representative. Some campuses have a full-service office that offers a range of counseling for all enrolled veterans and reservists. All veterans affairs representatives are able to offer appropriate referrals for the following services:
Academic Advisement and Tutoring
Prior learning through military training or deployment can create special advisement needs. Academic advisement offices are available to assist you on each campus.
Resources, such as the Veterans Upward Bound Program, are also available to help you apply for GI Benefits, college enrollment & financial aid, and college placement tests in reading, writing, and math.
Career Services
Assistance with work-study, full- and part-time employment, employment-related legal aid, as well as referrals to employment resources. Read more

Disability Services
Each CUNY campus features an Office of Disability Services, managed by a director who coordinates the provision of reasonable accommodations and support services for students with disabilities. Students' needs for reasonable accommodations and support services are verified by these offices. They also provide counseling and referrals, and arrange crucial auxiliary aids and services, including assistive technology services, note takers, readers, sign language interpreter services, distance learning networks, priority registration, and alternative testing arrangements.
