CUNYfirst applications will replace aging legacy systems like SIMS and CUPS and help us streamline and standardize many of the things we do at our colleges. CUNYfirst will be implemented in phases. Base processes for business, HR and academic structure will be created first, with enhancements and new modules being added in the coming years. Everyone working for CUNY will be trained to use the new tools available in CUNYfirst with training available in classes or on-line. The CUNYfirst Project is intended to establish CUNY policies, processes and procedures well into the future.
“My Personalizations” menu option available October 5
The “My Personalizations” menu option lets users change the current CUNYfirst interface to a page layout that better accommodates visually impaired users and assistive technologies, such as screen readers and magnifiers. If you don't want to alter the page layout, you can ignore the "My Personalizations" menu option.
Wherever it appears in the CUNYfirst menu structure, choosing My Personalizations > Personalize User Options > Use accessible layout mode and clicking OK transforms the corresponding CUNYfirst pages the next time you log in.
