Cold Harbor/Creighton Road intersection – The Hanover County Department of Public Works will hold a design public hearing on proposed improvements to the intersection of Cold Harbor and Creighton Road on April 24, 2012. The public hearing will be held from 5-7 p.m. in the cafeteria of Cold Harbor Elementary School. Proposed improvements include additional turning and through lanes along with new signalization. Sidewalks and accommodates for bicycles are also included in this project. For more information check out the Special Notice on the County’s home page.

Taylors Creek Road – The Rt. 617 bridge between Rt. 610 and Vontay Road (Rt. 611) has a 3-ton weight restriction. Repairs are expected in the spring of 2012.
Doswell Road – The Doswell Road (Rt. 688) bridge over Little River (between Old Ridge Road and Mt. Hope Church Road) has been restricted to three tons for bridge repairs until further notice. Trucks and heavy equipment should use an alternate route.
