The Financial Aid Office welcomes the opportunity to explore financial aid for all Cleveland State students in the form of grants, scholarships, work-study programs and loans. We support the college’s mission by assisting students in meeting their educational goals. Students are awarded based on financial need and/or academic achievement. The basis of determining a student ’s financial need will be an analysis of the financial status of the student ’s and/or the parents’ income. This analysis is accomplished by completing a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Financial need is determined by the cost of attendance minus Expected Family Contribution minus aid received.
