Deadlines
Applications: Freshmen
- Fall: Deadline to take the SAT if you haven’t already done so. List Clemson to receive your scores (institutional code for SAT is 5111; code for ACT is 3842).
- December 1, 2007: Apply for fall admission by this date to ensure February 15 notification.*
- December 15, 2007: Application deadline for spring admission (January enrollment).*
- December 31, 2007: Deadline for completion of application file to receive consideration for academic recruiting scholarships for the fall semester.
- February 15, 2008: Deadline to submit the FAFSA for need-based scholarships.
- Mid-February: Admission decisions mailed to students who applied for admission by December 1. Students who applied after December 1 may receive a decision at this time or shortly thereafter.*
- April 1, 2008: Deadline to submit the FAFSA for loans and grants.
- May 1, 2008: Final deadline to apply for fall admission.*
Application: Transfer Students
- December 1, 2007: Deadline to apply for spring admission (January enrollment).*
- February 15, 2008: Deadline to submit the FAFSA for need-based scholarships for the fall semester.
- April 1, 2008: Deadline to submit the FAFSA for loans and grants for the fall semester.
- July 1, 2008: Final deadline to apply for fall admission.*
*All official documents (except those for your current term) must be postmarked by December 15. Note: Transfer students who wish to apply for Maymester, Summer Session I or Summer Session II should submit their application at least two weeks before classes begin.
FAFSA Submission Deadlines
Academic Recruiting Scholarships: FAFSA is not required, but admission application file must be completed by December 31.
Restricted (Need-Based) Scholarships: February 15

All loan requests for summer school require submission of both the FAFSA for the preceding year and a loan request form (available in G01 Sikes Hall.)
