Clemson University is committed to providing a safe campus environment. Use this site to learn what to do in an emergency, how to avoid becoming the victim of a crime and how to sign up for CU Safe Alerts.
In the wake of another tragic shooting on a college campus, the Clemson University Police Department offers this safety information about what to do if there is an active shooter nearby.
There are three lifesaving actions you can take, depending on the situation: RUN, HIDE, FIGHT.
While those may not be your only choices, they are considered the best options by safety experts:
