The department participates in interdepartmental programs awarding the Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees with a major in plant and environmental science, genetics and in food technology. The Ph.D. program requires the performance of original research leading to a dissertation.  All graduate students in Horticulture must select an advisor before admission.
