Undergraduate Studies is a multifaceted service and support unit dedicated to the intellectual and personal growth of undergraduates at Clemson University. The mission of Undergraduate Studies is the enrichment of the undergraduate academic experience, from initial recruitment and admission, through graduation, and preparation for a life of productive and responsible citizenship.

General Education requirements have changed.

Revised General Education Requirements for currently enrolled students — effective immediately for graduation December 2013 and beyond. Students in the following majors should consult with their advisors:

  • Communication Studies
  • Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management
  • Visual Arts
  • Architecture
  • Psychology (BA only)

Undergraduate Studies can help YOU:

Learn

  • Academic Success Center – Find tutors, take workshops and receive academic counseling specific to your needs.
  • Creative Inquiry – Earn course credit by joining peers and faculty mentors in conducting multi-semester research projects in varying areas of interest.
  • ePortfolio – Use Clemson tools to create and maintain an electronic record of your academic accomplishments, self-reflection and assessment.
  • FIRST — Assisting first-generation college students in reaching their career goals in science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) majors.
  • Mentoring — A number of programs at Clemson offer incoming students support with academic and social transitions.
  • Student Disability Services — Access services to support disability-related academic and other challenges on campus.

Succeed

  • Academic Integrity – Refer to Clemson’s guidelines on honesty and respect in academics, and learn what to do if your academic integrity is ever questioned.
  • Early Success Program – Participate in a foundational program geared at easing the transition from high school to college.
  • Bridge to Clemson Program – Transition into Clemson after a solid first year at Tri-County Technical College.
