Mission Statement

Facilities Management is an integral component of Administrative Affairs. The management function is committed to binding the distinct parts of the department programs into a cohesive entity within the University. Facilities Management is dedicated to ensuring that the planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of all facilities and grounds support the academic and administrative needs of the University. The Facilities Management mission encompasses the University Master Plan, the 2020 Program, our Climate Action Plan, and the University's Strategic Plan. We are sensitive to changing demographics, social expectations, and evolving academic challenges. Facilities Management is committed to building and maintaining a safe, pleasant, and wholesome environment which meets the needs and expectations of our entire campus community.
