Emergencies

Always report an emergency to local responders first (i.e., local police, fire, ambulance, etc.).

In the event of a true emergency regarding the health or safety of a CCSU overseas program participant or an international student on the CCSU campus during normal working hours (Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. EST), contact members of the Center for International Education staff using the contact information below.

Outside of normal business hours, contact the CCSU Police Department at (860) 832-2375.  Give the Police your name, location, information about the nature of the emergency, and contact telephone number(s). They will relay this information to a member of the CIE staff, who will respond to you as soon as possible.
