A Message from the CIO

Welcome to IT, Information Technology, at CCSU. This website provides an overview of the services we provide to the CCSU community of students, faculty, and staff.

Our mission is to support the effective and efficient uses of technologies, information, and processes that facilitate the attainment of the university's goals relating to teaching, learning, and scholarship.

Our vision is to continually strive to achieve and be recognized for the quality, reliability, and timliness of our products, services, and solutions and that we meet or exceed the needs of our students, faculty, and staff.

Our values include an appreciation of the importance of the work of the CCSU community, a dedication to excellence, a passion for innovation, an emphasis on agility, the fostering of partnerships, and a commitment to client-centered service. 

Our practice involves creating an environment where mutual respect, collaboration, communication, and a dedication to customer service are the hallmarks of our operations.

IT operates under the direction of the CIO (Chief Information Officer) who reports directly to the President and is a member of the President's Cabinet.
