Eligibility for Summer 2014

Summer 2014 is based off unused aid for the 2013-2014 academic year. Funding is not guaranteed.

Must be enrolled for 6 credit hours.

State University Grants will not be available to assist with the payment of tuition fees.

Summer Pell Grant is any amount of remaining eligibility from the current school year 2013-2014.

  • All offers of summer financial aid are contingent on students completing courses for the current semester. We will review grades at the end of the semester and if you did not meet the requirements of our Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy, you will not be considered for summer funding and will be required to pay your summer tuition and registration fees.

Payment of Summer Tuition and Registration Fees

Students are responsible for paying out-of-pocket if they wish to hold course registration prior to receiving notification of award from our office. Students who have been awarded summer aid sufficient to cover their tuition and fees will not be required to pay to prevent their classes from being dropped.

Summer Aid Disbursement

Summer 2014 financial aid will be disbursed in July.  A refund would generate if there is excess funds after payment of any outstanding University fees.

Your eligibility for financial aid disbursement depends on your enrollment status as of the last day to add classes for each summer session.  Your original summer financial aid award will be adjusted if you drop to less than 6 credits.

Reminder:  If you receive a direct deposit or check and then decide to withdraw from the University or drop credits, you will be required to repay all or part of the financial aid received.
