- All offers of summer financial aid are contingent on students completing courses for the current semester. Payment of Summer Tuition and Registration Fees
Students are responsible for paying out-of-pocket if they wish to hold course registration prior to receiving notification of award from our office. Students who have been awarded summer aid sufficient to cover their tuition and fees will not be required to pay to prevent their classes from being dropped.
Summer Aid Disbursement
Summer 2014 financial aid will be disbursed by the end of July. A refund would generate if there is excess funds after payment of any outstanding University obligations (e.g., tuition, registration fees, and housing charges (if applicable).
Please Note: If you have decided to borrow a Federal Direct Loan and are not enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits during Session I, your loan disbursement will be delayed until the start of Session II.
Your eligibility for financial aid disbursement depends on your enrollment status as of the last day to add classes for each summer session. Your original summer financial aid award will be adjusted if you drop to less than 6 credits.
Reminder: If you receive a direct deposit or check and then decide to withdraw from the University or drop credits, you will be required to repay all or part of the financial aid received.
