Mission Statement

The Department of Biology at Central Connecticut State University offers a variety of opportunities and experiences that transect the broad field of biology. Through the academic and extracurricular opportunities offered by the Department, students are prepared to understand and interpret the living world so that they may ultimately be successful in their pursuit of biological careers.
