Mathematical Sciences

Welcome to the Department of Mathematical Sciences!

The department has 29 full time faculty members with expertise in mathematics, mathematics education, actuarial science, statistics, and data mining. Our programs prepare students for careers in teaching, business, industry, and research. In addition we provide students in the Carol A. Ammon College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences, School of Business, School of Educational and Professional Studies, as well as other departments within the School of Engineering, Science & Technology, with the mathematics and statistics courses needed for success in their fields.
