Skadden, Arps Honors Program in Legal Studies
The Skadden, Arps Honors Program is a unique partnership between Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP—one of the preeminent law firms in the world—and The City College of New York that prepares students from low-income and underrepresented groups for successful legal careers and to enrich and diversify the legal profession.
The Program accepts rising juniors (students who have completed approximately 50 to 70 credits), and offers merit scholarships, mentoring opportunities, a summer internship with stipend at a law firm or legal services non-profit, a legal studies curriculum, designed to complement a wide range of majors, and LSAT preparation and tutoring.
