What is the TKT about?
TKT gives teachers a foundation in the essential knowledge areas for teaching English. The course looks at different teaching methodologies, the language of teaching, use of resources, lesson planning, classroom management methods.

It covers three core modules. We offer a preparation course for each module

Module 1: Language and background to language learning and teaching

Module 2: Planning lessons and use of resources for language teaching

Module 3: Managing the teaching and learning process.

Why should I take the TKT course?

The course is aimed at all teachers and would-be teachers (primary – adult) who wish to increase their professional confidence and knowledge of teaching English.
It is an ideal way of preparing for the three core modules of Cambridge ESOL's Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT).
