IELTS
If you wish to emigrate or study abroad, the IELTS - International English Language Testing System will be your key to proving your competency in English.
IELTS test is a proof of competency in the English language that is recognised by all universities in the UK, Australia and New Zealand, by many universities in Canada and the US, and by universities in Europe. The test is in four parts (listening, reading, writing and speaking) and demonstrates both your passive and active language abilities. It is also a requirement for emigration to Australia , Canada and New Zealand. The British Council teaching team offers this special preparation course for all candidates who plan to take the academic or the general training test. The IELTS preparation course lasts 24 hours and costs LBP 405,000.
Cambridge ESOL- Internationally recognised English language qualifications
The satisfaction of having an internationally recognised English language qualification is a reward in itself. The Cambridge suite of exams can provide all this. You can start with the exam at your level and keep gaining qualifications as you progress in your studies.
KET and PET
The suite of exams from Cambridge begins with KET - Key English Test and leads on to PET - Primary English Test PET. These two exams do not require an exam preparation course, but work alongside the General English programme of the courses we offer.
Once you have reached the advanced level you can choose to study for the FCE - First Certificate in English. The CAE - Certificate of Advanced English and the CPE - Certificate of Proficiency in English complete this suite of English language exams.

This course will help you prepare for the FCE examination. The exam is intermediate level, and tests all the language skills.
