Novelist and broadcaster Howard Jacobson was the latest UK artist to participate in the British Council's UK Writer-in-Residence program at George Washington University. While at GWU Howard taught on campus and held public events in Washington DC in winter 2010.
Howard joins other contemporary British artists as part of an ongoing literature initiative at major American universities. Read more about the UK Writer-in-Residence Program in our special feature.
