Aaron Fettgather joined the British Council after graduating from American University in Washington, DC. Prior to this he had worked as a two-semester intern for the Education Team, specifically focusing on policy issues in international higher education. Most recently, Aaron’s concentration has been in K-12 education policy and teacher professional development.
Aaron has been responsible for the visits and programming of over 1,700 UK teachers who visited the United States under a Teacher International Development Programme. The teachers undertook professional visits throughout the United States. These visits have required Aaron to manage innumerable logistics and he has developed numerous professional relationships with State and local Education authorities.
