Helping children communicate

Each distinct course we offer is tailor-made to suit a particular age group. As children in different age groups have particular needs, we apply different styles of teaching in each case.

During this Lower Secondary course, children develop their communicative skills by using modern English with their classmates in meaningful, enjoyable contexts that encourage them to express themselves fully.

The course runs between September and April. It has a variety of levels and involves a balance of speaking, listening, reading and writing, and communicative activities that mimic real-life situations.

Course contents

Listening: songs, conversations, children's radio reports, DVDs etc.
Reading: stories, cartoons & comics, pages on the internet etc.
Writing: stories, letters, articles, posters, scripting conversations etc.
Speaking: drama and role plays, conversations, jazz chants etc.
