Step 1. Choose your course

Whether you need English for study, business or social reasons; whether you want to improve your career prospects or to study abroad; or whether you just enjoy learning English, we have a course that is right for you.

Have a look at courses for children if you are under 18 years old.

2. Take the Placement Test

Prior to registration you need to take the placement test if you:

are enrolling with the British Council for the first time
were tested 6 months ago
finished classes 6 months ago and wish to re-register.

Once you have been tested, we will be able to advise you of your level.

Book your Placement Test

The exclusive British Council International Language Assessment (ILA) is a specially designed placement test to ensure that you are in the correct class. The placement test takes about 70–80 minutes.

3. Register for the course

All customers can choose any announced course and register (paying the advertised fee) at any time from Monday to Friday from 12:00–19:30.

Registration for the course finishes about ten days before the beginning of the term. Please check the deadlines for payments.

Our existing students can reserve places for the following terms during the first two weeks of the current term.
