The British Council in Lviv was the first regional centre to be opened by the British Council in Ukraine, in November 1993. Our work covers eight regions in Western Ukraine — Lviv, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, Volyn, Uzhgorod, Chernivtsi, Rivne and Khmelnitskiy.
In 2008 in cooperation with Lviv national University named after Ivan Franko we opened a British Centre. In the British Centre we provide services and run activities in the areas of English Language, Education, Arts, Science and Governance. The special focus of our operation in Western Ukraine are: European Integration and Disability.
