We work towards achieving our objectives through the design and implementation of various projects in which we work in partnerships with both government institutions, civil society organisations and universities.

BOSPHORUS CONFERENCEThe annual Bosphorus Conference aims to discuss issues relevant to Turkey’s EU accession in a frank and off-the-record platform with the participation of high-level politicians, academics, think tank members, media professionals, bureaucrats, businesspeople and NGO representatives both from Turkey and Europe.
INDEPENDENT COMMISSION ON TURKEYThis project aims to support the new report of the The Independent Commission on Turkey (ICT) . ICT was established with the support of the Open Society Foundation and the British Council in order to examine arguments and to explore the potential benefits and challenges of Turkey’s membership to the EU.
project is the British Council’s response to one of the major cultural challenges facing our continent today - the growing mutual mistrust between Muslim communities and wider European society.
