BRITISH COUNCIL YOUNG LEARNER TEACHING CERTIFICATE PART 1
The British Council Young Learner Teaching Certificate Part 1 (YLT Cert 1) aims to develop a more critical awareness of teaching English to young learners (YLs), to encourage a reflective approach, to raise awareness and motivation of new approaches, to consolidate and extend your current knowledge of teaching English to young learners (YLs) in the end of 20 hours.
Our workshops are very practical in nature and involve you from the start to discuss and share your ideas, views and experience of teaching English to young learners. Our programme encourages you to reflect on your teaching and explore new ways of looking at what happens in the young learner EFL classroom with a critical eye.
Who can participate?
If you are a teacher with TEFL adult qualifications and experience and would like to work with young learners.
