International English Teaching Awards

International English Teaching Awards from the UK are a great way of gaining new skills whatever your current level of teaching experience.

The British Council does not currently provide Cambridge or Trinity qualifications in Turkey apart from the Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT).

Cambridge CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) and Trinity CERT TESOL The most widely internationally recognised initial teaching qualifications in TEFL for new or inexperienced teachers.
Cambridge ICELT (In-service Certificate in English Language Teaching) An in-service training qualification for practising teachers at primary, secondary school or university. The course develops both language competence and teaching methodology.
Cambridge DELTA (Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults) and Trinity DIP TESOL Internationally recognised qualifications for experienced ELT teachers of children or adults.

Trinity Specialist Courses

Short specialist in-service qualifications for practising ELT teachers of children or adults.

Certificate in International Business English Training (Cert IBET) A course suitable for qualified, experienced ESOL/EFL trainers wishing to develop their expertise in business English teaching.
Certificate in Teaching Languages with Technology (CertICT) A course developed by The Consultants-E in collaboration with Trinity College London
Young Learner Qualifications (STYLE) a two week full time programme designed for teachers who wish to develop training in teaching ESOL to young learners.
Diploma in TESOL Education Studies For experienced TESOL professionals and senior practitioners designed to recognise achievements such as programme and product development.
