Turkey and the EU : The Next Steps

The British Council, Delegation of the European Union to Turkey and Turkish Economic and Social Studies Foundation (TESEV) jointly organized the eighth Bosphorus Conference on the EU-Turkey relations. This high-level, invitation-only conference took place in Istanbul on 21-22 October 2011.

Our previous conferences have brought together Abdullah Gül, Steven Vanackere, Ali Babacan, Ahmet Davutoğlu, David Lidington, Stefan Füle, Egemen Bağıs, Olli Rehn and many others to discuss the politics and economics of Turkish accession.

This year’s conference focused on the following topics:
