IELTS RESULTS AND REFUND POLICY

How the test is marked?

Band scores are recorded on a Test Report Form. This shows overall ability as well as performance in listening, reading, writing and speaking bands range from 1 through to 9 an expert user. The institutions to which you are applying will normally stipulate which band they require.

How to get the results?

Your results can be accessed online 13 days after the written test date (i.e. after 12 noon on Friday of the following week if the test was on a Saturday). You will need to enter your candidate number, Passport or ID number, Date of birth and then select the date you took the test.

We are not permitted to release the results earlier nor to give you any information regarding your results by phone or in person, by e-mail or fax.

The original Test Report Form will be sent to you by local courier , unless you indicate on the form given to you on the test day that would like to collect it in person. You can also authorise someone to collect the form, with a signed letter giving this person’s name and passport/ID number (the person must carry the mentioned ID), and copy of your passport/National ID.

One other original copy will be sent directly to the educational institution of your choice, as specified on your application

How long is my test result valid for?

As with most English language qualifications, it is recommended that IELTS scores are only valid after a 2 year period if you can prove you have kept up your language level. It is at the discretion of the receiving institution if they wish to accept your results after this period. Please note we can’t issue a Test Report Form on your behalf after the 2 year period.
