Head of Sales and Customer Services (Grade F)

Job aim:

To develop and manage the structure, human resources and performance of frontline operations so that they are efficient and effective, commercially driven and sales focused.

To develop and execute Sales & Customer Management strategies for the professional handling of enquiries and registrations across the full range of the Council’s services and activities, including English teaching, examinations, UK education, and cultural operations.

To build and lead a large team (sales, customer management, telesales and finance/admin) that is highly motivated to deliver sales targets and first-class customer care in our integrated Customer Service Centre.

To monitor and improve service standards across all activities.

To proactively engage with internal stakeholders to ensure KPIs and business needs are met.

IELTS Examiners

We are looking for suitably qualified and experienced individuals to join our team of IELTS Examiners.

You will need:

  • An undergraduate degree or a qualification which can be demonstrated to be equivalent to an undergraduate degree.
  • A recognised qualification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languges (TESOL) or recognised equivalent as part of a recognised university award course.
  • At least 3 years full time (or the equivalent part time) relevant TESOL teaching experience (minimum one year post certificate level qualification). The majority of this teaching experience must relate to adult students (16 years and over).
  • The required professional attributes and interpersonal skills.
  • The training date will be from 19 - 22 March 2013 at the British Council Bangkok
  • The deadline will be on Friday 15th February 2013 at 17.00 hrs.
