Engaging with teacher trainers and educators is at the heart of our work under Project English. This is because teachers form the critical link to reach millions of English learners across Sri Lanka and India. We support teachers and trainers to develop their expertise and upgrade their English teaching skills. This support has been in the form of teacher qualifications, workshops, networking events and resources.
If you are an English language teacher, who wants to professionally develop and achieve potential, we can support your ambitions.
Hornby Seminars and Long-term scholarshipOrganised with support of the A.S. Hornby Educational Trust, the Hornby Seminars, over the last 9 years, have helped directly train over 1500 teachers in Sri Lanka and India.
The Hornby Trust also offers scholarship for people in the ELT domain to pursue courses in the UK.
